Dr. Charisse Luk joined SMVH after receiving her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in North Grafton, MA in 2003. She was born and raised in Hong Kong. Dr. Luk attended Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, CT and started her college career at University of California, San Diego. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and Environmental Studies from Tufts University in 1999.

She enjoys canine and feline medicine as well as exotic, avian and fish medicine. On her days off, she enjoys dining out with her friends in NYC's great restaurants, snowboarding during the winter, hiking with her dogs and traveling. She currently lives in the East Village and shares her home with two dogs: Neo, a Husky Shep mix and Mia, a Border Collie/Lab mix.
