Dr. Tracy De Meola is originally from northern New Jersey. She attended Long Island University, Southampton College where she acquired her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then attended Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in North Grafton, MA.

After graduation, she got married, moved to New York and started a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Animal Medical Center in Manhattan. It is there she developed an interest in avian and exotic animal medicine and gained valuable experience in canine and feline medicine. Dr. De Meola currently lives on the Upper East Side with her husband, but hopes to move to the downtown area into an apartment where they can also have their cat, Tori, with them.
