Meet the Staff

Staff

Responsible for the everyday functioning of the hospital, Jimma is the office manager at the hospital. She has been employed at St. Marks since 1998 and is a Glenville State College graduate, where she received a B.A. Degree in history.

Kezia comes to us from sunny Brazil where she worked was a veterinarian consulting for an animal food and pharmaceutical distributor. Prior to this, she worked in clinical practice. She has been a veterinary technician here in New York since 2001. Her special interests include dentistry and pain management.

Reina has been employed as a full-time receptionist since 1999. Previous to her position at St. Mark's Vet., she worked for 5 years at Throgs Neck Animal Hospital.

Igor grew up in the Ukraine, moving here shortly after completing Veterinary school at the Veterinary Academy in Lviv. In the Ukraine, he had a German shepherd who he misses very much, and here he has an very chatty African Gray parrot named Silver, who speaks in both English and Ukrainian. Igor likes to watch hockey, soccer, play chess, go to the beach or forest, and most of all spend time with his new bride Olga, who is a hairstylist.

All the way from Tennessee, Michelle originally went to school for human nursing. She quickly realized that animal nursing was her passion. She has loved New York City for years, and is thrilled to finally become a New Yorker

Staff

A technician at St. Mark's Veterinary Hospital since 2004, Natalie is originally from Jamaica but grew up in Brooklyn. She attended LaGuardia Community College, where she earned her Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology, and Hunter College, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in German Language and Literature. She shares her home with two cats, Jasper and Meesha, and a dog named Tai Chi. Natalie's hobbies include reading, cooking and rollerblading.
