Maggie
Maggie is an 8 month-old Bengal kitten, whose grandfather was a Double Grand Champion(although, Maggie's parents, Ken Goldman and Marlo Hyman have no idea what this means, they are impressed with how regal it sounds).
She is an extraordinarily lovely cat, with beautiful facial features and a pelt-like coat that glitters. Originally from Washington, DC, she now happily resides in a SoHo apartment adjacent to a bird-and-squirrel infested tree. Some of her likes and dislikes are:
Likes:
Drinking from the bathroom sink faucet
Sleeping on her daddy's work chair
Playing with the neighbors' dogs
Dislikes:
Loneliness
Human food(her owners are grateful for this)
Her $30 cat bed and all other expensive toys/gadgets/knick-knacks
Her best friend is currently a rainbow colored feather duster, which she alternately protects and tries to kil, but she hopes that her adoptive parents will someday bring home a new brother or sister Bengal.
Maggie is very grateful to the kind and talented staff at St. Marks Veterinary Hospital, who treat her as one of their own. In the span of just a few months, St. Marks gvet has cured her of an oral virus, removed a digestive system parasite, performed a spaying(while deftly re-aligning her spots), and completed a laser declawing. The laser declawing was especially impressive - in just one day, she came home without any bandages.
Maggie is quite proud of being chosen as the St. Marks Pet of the Month, and promises to use her newfound fame not for selfish purposes, but rather, to pormote charity and love worldwide.
