Harrie
Dear Dr. Haddock,
Just a note to share with you that this is the third anniversary of my adoption! In May of 2001 I was rescued by a kind woman in Long Island and brought to Manhattan by another Good Samaritan who placed me in a shelter until I could be adopted. I was mistreated and neglected as a baby, which taught me to be a tough guy. Fortunately my parents-to-be saw me and I became special. My dad took me home on July 6, 2001. After investigating my new home I decided to give him the seal of approval by hopping into his lap a half hour later. When my new mom got home from work that day I also realized it was love at first sight! They couldn't resist me (because I'm so cute & affectionate). They promised to love and care for me always. I'm thinking of nominating them for the" Parents of Feline Award". (Is there such a thing?) Anyway I think they're great and you too. Thanks for being a great Vet and helping me to get better. I'm sticking to my special diet. I'll keep in touch. Meow & xxx , ....Harrie (Harmon)
