Dick Sloane
Dick is a 10-week-old Siberian kitten with a phenomenal energy level. He and his brother Ceddie are both classic tabbies and will have semi-long coats, perfect for Siberian winters. In fact, their father came from St. Petersburg, Russia, where these cats are a natural breed. They were first shown in cat shows in England in the 1820s, but have only been bred in the United States since 1990.
Dick has been in his new home for just a week, but has already endeared himself to his human companions by greeting us at the door, coming when he is called, and switching on his incredibly loud purr when petted. He spends most of his waking hours tumbling on the floor with his brother; they literally never stop "fighting," but just when I think they are playing too roughly, they start licking each other! They have reached under and behind everything, finding ancient Cheerios and lost hair elastics, both of which make great hockey pucks. Dick also loves interactive toys, and leaps and twists in the air when we dangle the toy in front of him, as in this action shot. Dick's beauty, athleticism, and warmth are much appreciated by his lucky new owners.
