Delancey
Delancey (nickname: Fancy) has had a long career as a famous and successful bunny. She stared in a successful Off-Broadway play and was featured in the New York Times, Theater Magazine and Time Out New York.
But it wasn't always bright lights and fame for Delancey. Born into captivity at the poultry mart underneath the Williamsburg Bridge (on a certain eponymous street), she was rescued by her current family in February 2005. Soon afterwards, when she was first brought to St. Marks Vet, she weighed a mere 2.5 pounds and had 15 different ailments. After great medical attention and care from Dr. Kurowski and her staff, Delancey was able to make a full recovery and now weighs a healthy 8.5 pounds. She lives in a one-bedroom apartment in the West Village with her family. Delancey determines who the boss of the family is by chewing through any power cord in her sights.
