Arthur

Hi! My name is Arthur. My Aunt Rima gave me to my Mommy for Christmas. We were each other's best present ever! Now I live on the Lower East Side of New York City. I LOVE my neighborhood! From our roof, I can see the Empire State Building and the Brooklyn Bridge. I lick my mommy's face early every morning until she wakes up and takes me to the roof. I love to take walks with her and play in Tompkins Square Park. I meet all my friends there everyday. The only problem I have is that it takes such a long time to get there. I can't take five steps without being stopped by a stranger. But I'm only pretending to complain—I love the attention! I like to end my days at my local watering hole. I can always count on Liam and Matty to have a Jameson ready for me. Everyone starts filing in after a hard day of work and I just seem to brighten up their day! Soon it's time to go home, which luckily is right upstairs. I look at my mommy with my big puppy eyes and she can't resist. She has to pick me up. Of course this is all part of my plan; I don't want to walk up six flights of stairs! After the long climb up, I'm exhausted and just want to cuddle up and fall asleep. Of course, I wake up and realize I'm only 8 weeks old! I haven't been anywhere yet! Soon enough I'll be old enough to go outside and I hope to see you at the park!
